Culture shock

Everyone has a culture, and many are quite different. When two people from different cultures come in contact with each other, they often will feel culture shock. This is especially true if one is forced to adapt to a foreign culture. How do you feel when your culture is challenged? Asians often eat rice with chopsticks; Italians often eat pasta with forks. Imagine one goes to live in the country of the other. The foreigner feels pressure to conform, the local try to push the foreigner to do things the local way. Foreigners and locals, men and women, managers and workers; they all must adapt to each other’s culture.
